I’ve been talking about this for a while and I’m so glad that today I can finally unveil a couple of new products that I have been working on! After I designed and made my Cozy Afternoon quilt, I just loved the applique designs…
Just for fun, I sat down and painted the designs….
… and I LOVED how the artwork came out…
So I asked myself… what can I do with this cute art? Hmmmmmm…. Note Cards! Yes, note cards would be cute:
These would be really cute gifts for teachers, friends, secret sister… and of course, for yourself!! Use them for thank you notes, thinking of you notes, or even birthday cards or get well cards. Wouldn’t it be a cute gift to include a package of these with a little box of tea? Or, if you are sending a thank you note, enclose a tea bag in the card as a special treat for the recipient.
So then, I thought… what about some quilt labels?? How cute are these for finishing off your Cozy Afternoon Quilt, or any quilt or sewing project:
These are fabric labels which you cut apart, fill in your information with a permanent marker (like Pigma), and then stitch to the back of your project. There are 10 labels on the panel.
I think these are a lovely way to “document” your quilts! Your quilt should have your name, the date that you made it, and other important information, like where you made it, who you made it for, etc. Future generations will thank you! I’ve been to many museums with quilts on display- these are indeed works of art! You never know where your work may end up some day, so make things easy on the curators who may work with it!
These products are now available on my website.
I’ve really had fun putting these products together for you- I hope you like them!
